Ź (minuscule: ź) is a letter of the Latin alphabet, formed from Z with the addition of an acute. It is used in Belarusian Łacinka, Polish and Lower Sorbian as well as in phonetic transcription to represent a voiced alveolo-palatal fricative (IPA: ʑ). The Unicode codepoints are U+0179 for Ź and U+017A for ź.
