.pk is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Pakistan. It is administered by PKNIC. Traditionally, registrations were at the third level under various labels:

.COM.PK - General Business, or Individual
.NET.PK - Network Related Business
.EDU.PK - Educational Institutes
.ORG.PK - Non-profit Organizations
.FAM.PK - Family and Individuals
.BIZ.PK - General Business, Promotional
.WEB.PK - Web Sites
.GOV.PK - Domains for Government of Pakistan
.GOB.PK - Domains for Government of Baluchistan
.GOK.PK - Domains for Government of Azad Kashmir

However, as of 2005 second-level registration became available, starting with a Sunrise Period limited to trademark holders. PKNIC started open registration of second-level .pk domains (eg - example.pk instead of example.com.pk) on 20 June, 2006 after the sunrise and land rush period.
