The 2009 ICC World Cup Qualifier is a cricket tournament that will take place in April 2009 in South Africa. It is the final qualification tournament for the 2011 Cricket World Cup.

The tournament is the new name for the ICC Trophy.

Teams

These teams will be joined by the top two teams from Division Three in 2009. The top six teams from this tournament will gain One Day International status for the following four years. The semi finals, final, and 3rd and 5th place play-offs of this tournament will be official ODIs. The semi-finalists will qualify for the 2011 World Cup in the new format approved for the World Cup.
