- Amaravati River, flows from Kerala into Tamil Nadu, where it joins the river Kaveri
- Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, a small town in Guntur District, on the banks of river Krishna in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This was a seat of a great Budhist Monastery in earlier times.
- Amravati, the name given to a district and its headquarters in the state of Maharashtra (India)
