Anchorage is a housing scheme of Pakistan Navy in Sihala, Islamabad, Pakistan. It is located in Zone 4 of Islamabad Capital Territory which has been allocated by CDA for private housing schemes. Although it is owned by the Pakistan Navy, civilian residents of Pakistan can now purchase plots after first allotment to naval officers. The importance of this housing scheme has increased due to the development of DHA Islamabad in the same locality. Since few homes have been built there, a major portion of this scheme is still vacant. It is a nice place, located away from the city centre with many green areas and playgrounds. Until now (Jan 2008) no school or shopping centre were available. However, Bahraya Foundation has now opened a college and school. Construction of shopping plazas are also in progress.
