Ayananka Bose is one of Bollywood's upcoming cinematographers.
Educated at the Chennai Film Institute, he received his early training from cinematographers Rajiv Menon and Ravi K. Chandran.
Bose started his career by assisting in movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Koi Mil Gaya and Black before becoming independent. His first movie was Main Aisa Hi Hoon (2005) starring Ajay Devgan, Esha Deol and Sushmita Sen. The movie was an Indian version of the Hollywood story "I am Sam".
Later movies include, Umrao Jaan (2006 film) (2006) and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (2007).
He is currently working for the Yashraj production, Tashan (film).
