Badkhal Lake is situated at about 16 km from Delhi in Faridabad.

It is a natural lake surrounded by hilly areas of the Aravali Range in Haryana. It often dries up in summers. As of August 2008, the lake has almost dried up and low amount of rains in the area are responsible for the situation. Certain mines surrounding the lake are also responsible for blockage of flow of water to lake. Govt. has promised the locals to fill up and revive the lake for preparations of 2010 Commonwealth Games.
