Balasegaram Kandiah (November 27, 1965 – May 20, 2008), known by his nom de guerre Balraj or Brigadier Balraj,[1] was the senior commander of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. He died on May 20, 2008 due to a heart attack.[2]
