Beechhurst (zip code 11357) is a neighborhood in the northeasten part of the New York City borough of Queens, and is considered part of Whitestone. On the north eastern side of Whitestone is another exclusive area known to the local residents as Beechhurst, high rise condominiums and views of the Whitestone and Throgs Neck Bridges. Beechhurst is near the East River, north of the Cross Island Parkway and between the approaches to the Throgs Neck Bridge and Whitestone Bridge. This neighborhood is different from Whitestone, more diversity in the population around 150th street and 154th street. The neighborhood is part of the NYPD's 109th Precinct and Queens Community Board 7.[1] The neighborhood has seen growth in ethnic diversity today.
Beechhurst has a large population of Asian Americans, White Americans. The Q15 via 150th Street to Beechhurst provides access to and from the Flushing-Main Street station on the IRT Flushing Line.
