Bharti Public School, Delhi, India, is one of the largest educational institutions in India. The school was founded by Mr. S.L. Batra. The main branch is located at Swasthya Vihar, while other branches are at Mayur Vihar (Kondli), and Rajgarh.

History

The school was founded by a school founding committee led by Mr. S.L. Batra in 1980.

School infrastructure

The schools are well known for its excellence in education and various fields. The schools have excellent infrastructure for co-curricular activities. Sports are heavily encouraged. There are cricket nets and field, table tennis halls and badminton, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. In addition to sports, the school also provides coaches for aerobics and yoga (compulsory for 8th and below standards). The school is highly involved in various festivals and cultural events.

The school is divided into 4 sections :
1) Main building,
2) Auditorium and halls,
3) Sports Fields and Courts
4) Managerial Areas.

Main Building

The giant four storey building is the home of the Bhartian S.E.N.A. Every floor has 14-16 student rooms,one staff cabin,a set of two toilets,supplementary rooms like science labs, computer labs, library and other facilities.

Auditorium and Halls

The school has a giant auditorium hall for indoor events and activities and a large assembly hall for giant functions.

The Sports Fields and Courts

The school encourages sports, thus cricket nets, table tennis hall and badminton, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts are there for an adequate growth of students.

The Managerial Areas

The school has a large allocated a part of the complex for managing the school like the reception, management's head offices, library, laboratories and more.

The school is managed by a school management committee which consists of the Batra family.

Houses

The students are divided into four large houses (Samta, Ekta, Nistha and Ahimsa) collectively known as nuni S.E.N.A. The houses are named after the four qualities a student should have: 'Samta - Strength, Ekta - Unity, Nistha - Dedication, Ahimsa - Non - Violence. The school organizes various house based events. The school has now expanded its branches to many parts of Delhi.
