Budania (Hindi: बुडानिया) is a gotra of Jats found in Rajasthan and Haryana in India. They are found in Bhattu Kalan, Darba and Adampur in Haryana and Churu district of Rajasthan. This gotra gets its name after Buria state.[1] Buria is a place in Yamunanagar district of Haryana, named after Birbal, one of the navratnas of the Mughal Emperor Akhbar. Budania gotra got its name from the name of Budha ji. His temple is placed at village Chichroli in tehsil Chirawa, district Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan.
