This category contains templates which have been semi-protected. This is usually done in response to vandalism or other unconstructive editing, or when the template is widely used, meaning that such vandalism is very noticeable – so-called "high-risk" templates. Semi-protection prevents a page being edited by anonymous or newly registered users; more vulnerable templates may be fully protected, which prevents them being edited except by administrators.

To add a template to this category, use {{pp-semi-template}}. This should only be done if the template is in fact semi-protected – adding the template does not in itself protect the page.
