The Thames Path is a footpath along the bank of the River Thames in England. It is about 180 miles long. The walk way is a national path, and a major tourist attraction, especially in London where many sights are close to the path. The Thames Path also follows the river upstream through locks up to Lechlade in Gloucestershire and its source. There are sections of walk along the river through Putney, Barnes and Richmond through to Runnymede and Windsor.
