Copenhagen International Documentary Festival, also known as CPH:DOX, is an international documentary film festival established in 2003 and held annually in Copenhagen, Denmark.
It was founded as an offspring of NatFilm Festival, a feature film festival held in Copenhagen since 1990. CPH:DOX is today the largest and most prestigious documentary festival in Scandinavia. Its emphasis is on showcasing best documentary achievements, as well as promoting innovative approach to documentary filmmaking which merges various forms of media art with traditional forms of the genre. In addition to film screenings, the festival often organizes workshops, seminars and panel discussions designed to bring together artists and filmmakers and facilitate new projects.
The festival was most recently held in November 2007. Over 150 films were shown and around 26,000 people attended the screenings.
