Daniel Coakley won two gold medals and a silver medal at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games for swimming as a member of the team from the Philippines at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games. He is the grandson of former Filipino Olympic swimming medalist Teofilo Yldefonso.
