Doli Saja Ke is a Hindi language television soap that airs on Sahara One channel worldwide, based on the concept of one's ill-fated and inauspicious fate.

Plot

The show focuses on the protagonist Anupama, who is shunned by all as unlucky and jinxed, because her birth unfortunately coincides with the death of her mother Kiran. Her father believes that his wife died because of Anupama and he blames the girl entirely for the tragedy. Anupama grows up with the stigma of being a jinxed girl, the myth being further fanned by her stepmother Maya and slowly, as she grows up, she too starts believing in it. As Anupama grows older, her life becomes miserable because of her father's indifference and her stepmother's abuse. While Anupama's stepbrother Veer loves and respects her immensely, her stepsister Riddhima treats her like a lesser mortal. Another person who supports Anupama throughout is her father’s old servant Badri Kaka. But Veer and Badri Kaka's love never fill the gap left by the death of her mother and the indifference of her father. She falls in love with the handsome and understanding Chaitanya, who brings happiness into her life and teaches her how to live all over again, and tries his level best to remove all the scars and bruises left by her family members. After facing a lot of obstacles, the couple get married. Anupama believes that her sufferings have almost drawn to a close, but her life continues to be filled with hurt, obstacles and ordeals as she now has to handle her conniving sister-in-law Padmini and lecherous brother-in-law Inderjit besides stepmother Maya and sister Riddhima, all of whom are plotting to turn her good-natured and wise mother-in-law Sharda Shekhawat against her. Chaitanya starts to remember his old wife Aditi. Veer marries Namrita. Namrita gets jealous of Anupama because Veer always talks about her. Inderjit killed chaitaniya and his mom. Inderjit only did this for money. Anupama is struggling. Anupama has a new love in her life. Daksh Singhania works with Anu's dad. Anupama is finally getting love from her dad. Later Daksh wants to marry Anu, But she disagrees. Then Daksh's brother threatens her and she accepts the marriage . she accepts. get engaged. Then Riddhima makes another plan to stop Anu and Daksh's wedding.The plan goes well Anu hears about it she says either tell Vikram or I will. Maya gets scared. Anu and Daksh then get married, but then Anu finds out that Daksh married her only for money (actually Meera wanted Daksh to marry a simple girl, so after a year all of the Singhania property would go to Anu and they will fool her and make her sign the papers). However there this plan fails and Anu finds out about the property,Daksh's original lifestyle and also about daadi!And now daadi helps Anu to get Daksh on the right path,as Daksh almost falls in love with Anu,Meera brings back Daksh's first love, Diya (Protagonist, Meera fools her into believing that Anu hates Daksh and Daksh's life is as hell and getting worst because of Anu and asks her to come back in Daksh's life) However Daksh starts to hang out with her and almost starts to fall for her, again.But in the mean time, Diya understands that Anu and Daksh are meant fr each other and leaves Daksh's life and tries to convince Meera that no one can ever separate them. But then Meera gets very upset, mad and very furious and angry at daadi as she knows that she is the one helping Anu. After the "Diya incident" Daksh falls in love with Anu and they have their first night and Meera and Dhananjay get even more furious. Anu then, with the discontent of her husband has one of daadi's pills and shows Daksh the effects. Dhananjay again protects Meera and himself by blaming the doctor.Anu then makes Daksh promise to go office everyday and make his brothers dream project go very well. He does well and gets happier with Anu. Meera and Maya, meanwhile, team up to destroy Anu.They both get Anu kidnapped and Anu finds out that Maya is Meera's partner and she tells Meera she doesn't have to care about Riddhima as Maya is her mom.But then there Anu escapes and she falls from a mountain and Meera, Dhananjay and Maya are worried but Dhananjay finds a solution as he sees a girl named Tia, is Anupama's lookalike;Tia is a fun-loving girl and Dhananjay offers her a deal and she accepts and she eventually falls in love with Daksh and in between Ishaan tries to misbehave with her and when she tell Ishaan off Riddhima sees and thinks Anupama is just to full of herself. But also Tia feels guilty and tries to tell the truth to Daksh and daadi but as always they think she is just joking.Meanwhile Anupama's back but her life is exchanged with Tia's,Tia lives Anupama's life and Anupama lives Tia's life! Will Anupama get back her memory?Yes! she finally gets back her memory and Tia tells her all what happened after she fell of the hill.....and that they are sisters and then Anupama and Tia return to their own lives. And Tia's feelings about Daksh get crushed and disappear after she finds about Anu and Daksh and she starts for fall for Arjun! Now....Anupama plays a game where she "kills" Daksh and shows Ishaan and Meera&Dhananjay that she has power and can do anything she wants to. But it was just a trap for Ishaan and his parents,but there Ishaan gets early and reveals to Anu(who he thinks is Tia) that he attempted to kill Daksh many times including a second before Anu(thinks Tia) killed Daksh.Then there Daksh comes alive and they get Ishaan arrested.But Meera and Dhananjay see this and following Anu(thinking tia) to the restaurant see both Anu and Tia together face to face and get shocked!
