Don Shanks (born February 26, 1950) is an American actor and stuntman, known for his role as Michael Myers in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.

Shanks, a Cherokee Native American, was born Donald L. Shanks in Piasa, Illinois. He has one sister named Kay. In 1967, following his graduation from Southwestern High School in Piasa, Illinois, he and his family moved to Los Angeles. In 1989, Shanks portrayed Michael Myers in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. In 2006, he appeared as Ben Willis, the infamous serial killer in the film I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer. Recently, Shanks, an Indigenous of Cherokee descent, appeared in the film The Last Sin Eater as an Indian Chief. It was released in the U.S. on February 9, 2007, only 17 days before his 57th birthday.
He has worked as a stuntman in many films, including the hit comedy Dumb & Dumber. He currently lives in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles, California.
