Professor Donald Gordon Fraser is Professor of Earth Sciences at Oxford University, a Tutorial Fellow at Worcester College, Oxford, and currently holds the office of Senior Proctor[1] within the University.

He works on the origin of biological chirality, the development of early biomolecules and the origin of life. He is an opponent of Vice-Chancellor Dr John Hood's proposal for Governance reform in Oxford.[2] He has been Chairman of the Faculty of Physical Sciences and in 2006 was elected unopposed as a member of the University's governing Council.[3]
