Eleanor and Franklin (1976) is a television movie released on January 11, 1976, starring Edward Hermann as Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Jane Alexander as Eleanor Roosevelt.

Directed by Daniel Petrie, the film follows the lives of President Franklin Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor told in flashback from her perspective after her husband's death, from the time they were children until his election to the presidency.

A second film was made which detailed Roosevelt's term as president (Eleanor and Franklin: The White House Years) (1977).

The film won numerous awards, including several Emmys, a Golden Globe, and the Peabody Award.
