Famous Players-Lasky Corporation was an American motion picture company formed in 1916 from the merger of Famous Players Film Company and the Jesse L. Lasky Feature Play Company. The deal, guided by Adolph Zukor, saw this new entity make a concurrent deal with W. W. Hodkinson that resulted in Famous Players-Lasky Corporation becoming the parent company of Hodkinson’s Paramount Pictures.

Famous Players is still the name of a chain of movie theaters in Canada under the auspices of Cineplex Entertainment.

Famous Players Lasky Corporation operated laboratories at Sixth Avenue and Pierce Avenue in Long Island City, New York around 1925.
