Farrukhabad one of three tehsils in the Farrukhabad District of the State of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. The other two tehsils are Kaimganj and Amritpur. The city was founded in 1714 by Mohammad Khan who named it after the Mughal emperor Farrukhsiyar [1].
