HOK Sport Venue Event

All you want to know about HOK Sport Venue Event

HOK Sport Venue Event is an architectural firm specializing in the design of public assembly spaces and planning of major special events.

After recognizing a potential market for architects specializing in the design of sports facilities, HOK founded HOK Sport in 1983. In 1996, HOK Sport, recognizing the small niche of sport design, expanded its practice to include convention facilities. By merger with a similar company, LOBB Sport with offices in London and Brisbane, Australia, and a home office in Kansas City, Missouri. HOK Sport created a global sports design firm. In 2002, HOK Sport merged with Anderson Consulting Team, which specialized in public event planning. Today, HOK SVE's portfolio includes innovative solutions to the design of sports venues, convention facilities and the planning of major public events such as the Olympics, the NBA All-Star Game, the FIFA World Cup and the Super Bowl.

The firm traces its roots in the USA to many of its architects coming from Kivett & Myers which designed the Truman Sports Complex in Kansas City in 1967.
