Hanuman Mandir in the Connaught Circus, New Delhi is a very famous Hindu temple situated on the Baba Kharak Singh Road (old Irwin Road). The people of Delhi are particularly devoted to the Lord Hanuman idol located in here about 250m southwest of Connaught Circus in central Delhi. It was originally built by Maharaja Man Singh during Akbar's time and later it was reconstructed by MaharajaJai Singh in 1724 around the same time as the Jantar Mantar.
