Summary

This picture is taken by my maternal grandfather Brig. Hari Singh Deora A.V.S.M (Ati Vishisht Sewa Medal), 18th Cavalry (Indian Army).

This picture was taken during the 1965 Indo-Pak War when the Indian Army captured the Ichhogil Canal after capturing the village of Barkee.

Behind the picture it was written:
