Kadar Khan was born on 6 oct 1925 andwas a scriptwriter and actor in Indian films.

Known more for his comic roles as father in David Dhawan's films along with Govinda or Salman, he has also done many character roles in past years. Some of the movies in which he played important/famous roles are Himmatvala, Baap Number Beta Dus Number, Dulheraja, Jesi Karani Vesi Bharani, Aankhe, and Gardish. Khan is also known in the Hindi Film industry as a dialogue writer.
