Karen Johnson is a weather presenter and local weekday morning broadcaster on The Weather Network (Greater Toronto Area) with Tom Reynolds. She is native to Toronto and in 1990 was selected as Miss Toronto. Karen began her broadcasting career at OMNI.1 as a reporter and anchor. Specializing in general and entertainment news. She was the original host of the popular entertainment show ([Bollywood Blvd]) seen on OMNI.1. Karen also co hosted ([The Veggie Table]) a popular cooking show that still airs to date around the world. Her career has taken her to Edmonton, Alberta where she changed her broadcasting roles. She became a weather presenter and news writer for A-Channel Edmonton.

She moved to The Weather Network in 2002.

Her career highlights include: covering the Grammy and Emmy awards and being chosen to introduce the current Prime Minister at a recent media reception.
