Professional choirs
Anúna
Formed in 1987 by Irish composer Michael McGlynn, this choir specialise in the performance of reconstructions of early Irish music. This repertoire is combined with McGlynn's arrangements of traditional Irish music and his own original work. Choir of Saint Thomas Church, New York
The Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys provides music for five choral services each week at St. Thomas Church in New York City. It also gives numerous and varied concerts throughout the year.
The choir is composed of grown men, who are professional singers, and boy choristers, grades three through eight, all of whom attend the nearby Saint Thomas Choir School.
St Mary's Cathedral Choir, Sydney
The St Mary's Cathedral Choir is the oldest musical institution in Australia. In 1818 a group of choristers was formed to sing Vespers before the Blessed Sacrament in the Dempsey Household, the centre of Roman Catholic worship in Sydney as a penal colony.
Choir of St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle
The Choir of St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle has been in existence since 1348 and, with the exception of the Commonwealth period (1649-1660), has sung services in the Chapel continuously ever since.
