Biography

A daughter of a senior Mumbai policeman who grew up in Mumbai, and was an Arts student at Mithibai College, in Vile Parle, Mumbai, she appeared in several music videos and in some item songs in Bollywood movie. After she received wider notice as a contestant in several reality shows, including Big Boss ^[1] and Nach Baliye ^[2], she began to receive considerable coverage from the Indian tabloid press. She has also won the dance reality show "yeh hai jalwa". presently she is a judge of a dance reality show Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka which air's on zee tv . Sawant is a life member of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy Of Film & Television.
