Secretariat

In many countries, a Secretariat is an office complex where officials and administrators, including bureaucrats, conduct a government's business. These offices are officially known as a Government Secretariat.

Secretariat may also refer to:

• UN Secretariat, one of the principal organs of the United Nations
• The Secretariat of the European Parliament, in Luxembourg
• The Secretariat of State (Holy See), one of the principal organs of the Roman Curia

• Government Secretariat of the Hong Kong Government
• Various governmental organizations that act as the secretary for the entire organization
