Shivinder Singh Sidhu (born October 13, 1929[1]) is an Indian political figure, currently serving as Governor of Goa.
He was the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization from August 1988 to August 1991. He became the Governor of the state of Manipur on August 6, 2004, when he took over from Arvind Dave.
Sidhu was additionally Governor of Meghalaya from October 2007 to July 1, 2008. On July 8, 2008, he was appointed as Governor of Goa, and Gurbachan Jagat was appointed to succeed him as Governor of Manipur.[2] He was sworn in as Governor of Goa on July 21, 2008.[1]
