The Siege of Gordium, which was part of an infamous siege at the city of Gordium in which, in the absence Alexander the Great, his commander Parmenion captured the city. Gordium was the capital of ancient Phrygia, and became Greater Phrygia later on, but the Persian garrison stayed there until the last months of 334 BC.

During the winter, his king, Alexander the Great joined him.
