All you want to know about User:J Milburn

"Nor does the wolf molest more the timid flock than superstition does the anxious breast of wretched mortals." - Philo, Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion.

I registered this username on 10 March, 2006 and became an administrator on 10 April, 2007 (verify). I edit under my real name and I am a student from Cumbria, England. You may know me from my bot, J Milburn Bot (talk · contribs), which is currently dormant, or from my Commons account (see userpage) that I don't use much, or you may have bumped into me on the English Wiktionary (see userpage). I'm generally on IRC while editing, and sometimes when not, where I can be found on Wikipedia, Wiktionary and Wikimedia channels as J_Milburn.

Among other things, I like to write about music, reality TV, mushrooms, Dungeons & Dragons and my local area. In terms of recognised content, I have written two featured articles, nine good articles and have had thirteen pages appear in the Did You Know? section on the main page. You can view those articles here. I'm not one for counting edits (I don't recent change patrol, which is where a lot of editors' high counts come from) but I have somewhere in the region of 35,000 edits with 4,000 deleted edits. This apparently puts me in the top 350 contributors by number of edits. I have also deleted somewhere in the region of 6,000 pages. My other admin actions are pretty minimal. You can check an exact count, as I am no doubt going to forget to update this.
