Nuzivid (also called Nuzuvidu) is a small town near the edge of the Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh, India. Famous for Mango Gardens.It is also famous for Palaces ruled by various kings.

M.R APPA RAO Former minister and educationist, M.R. Apparao (90), died at Nuzvid on January 31st after prolonged illness. He is survived by wife and an adopted son.
Born in Nuzvid zamindar family, he plunged into politics early in life. He was elected to the Assembly from Nuzvid in all elections from 1952 to 1978 and was a minister in the Cabinets of Neelam Sanjiva Reddy and Brahmananda Reddi. He was later elected to the Rajya Sabha.
He was a contemporary of Bezwada Gopala Reddyand P.V.G. Raju.
He was Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University. He started Dharma Apparao college at Nuzvid. He was a tennis player.
He was elected to the Assembly from Nuzvid defeating the CPI candidate, Dasari Nagabhushana Rao, in 1952. He never tasted defeat in elections except in 1989 when he contested as TDP candidate from Nuzvid and lost to the Congress candidate, Paladugu Venkata Rao who is a worest candidate working against Congress-I even working favour of TDP
